Job Title: Bartender Assistant | Pilina | Part-timeHourly Rate: $21.25Providing Inspired Food & Beverage to highlight the destination we represent is one of our passions. As a Bartender Assistant in our lobby lounge, Pilina, you will be a hospitality ambassador that will connect our guests to the delectable cuisine and libations inspired by our diverse culture and island home. You will play a crucial role in supporting our bartending team to ensure that we provide an impeccable dining experience for our guests. Your attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and passion for mixology will contribute to maintain high standards for our bar operation.What you will be doing:Responsible for providing beverage service within Fairmont & Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards.  Areas of responsibility will include and are not limited to the following:Adhere to daily checklists and dutiesPerform daily preparation for bar service, including but not limited to picking up liquor, beer and wineCreate storeroom requisitions and stocking bars and service stations accordinglyPrepare garnishes, syrups, fresh juices, and all other preparation work that will assist the bar team for the daily serviceUtilize culinary skills to prepare garnishes, infusions, syrups, and other elements that enhance the overall cocktail experienceMaintain an organized inventory of bar ingredients, spirits, and supplies, and manage ordering and replenishment as neededEnsure that all food and beverage items are fresh and of the highest qualityEnsure bar and service stations are properly set up with necessary equipment and regularly replenished with necessary supplies: alcohol, garnishes ice, dishes, and utensilsMaintain glassware supplies for the bar tenders by washing glassware and polishing as required.Create an exceptional food and beverage experience by delivering high-quality products and engaging serviceEnsure that bar area is clean and all equipment is functionalManage recycling and proper disposal of empty bottles and wasteHave full knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methods for all food and beverage venues on propertyAdhere to the State of Hawaii & EHC (Environmental Health Consultancy) food handling safety standardsOrganize time so all side work is completed according to shift demandMaintain an atmosphere of aloha spirit by providing engaging, personalized, timely, and efficient service to our discerning guestsFocus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
